A kind and noble person, she spends her days traveling across the countryside with a group of Witch Paladins, lending a hand or a sword to those who need it.
Her favourite colours are earthy colours and purple, her favourite food is Peaches, and her favourite drink is Red Wine. She dislikes Mushrooms and overly strong Liquor. She hates cockiness and overconfidence, thinking that they lead to dangerous and unnecessary risk taking.
She is very sociable, she enjoys spending time in pubs, drinking, merrymaking and indulging in boisterous festivities. For her musical tastes, since she loves to have loud gatherings with her fellow Witch Paladins, she loves any music you can tap your feet and charge a glass to, but relaxing songs have a place in her heart; for helping to calm the soul and ease away life's stresses.
Temper wise, she is quite level-headed; however, if you know the right thing to say, it's not very difficult to push her buttons. Despite her tendency to be a bit zealous and overreactive, her courage and unwavering commitment is a source of inspiration and admiration for her fellow Paladins.
Her motivations in life are largely altruistic. She takes great joy from helping others. From a young age she devoted herself to becoming a Witch Paladin, a Champion of the people, to use a combination of swordsmanship and magic to defend against evil forces that attempt to corrupt and destroy mankind. However, she is not without her own goals. The armour she wears and the sword she carries belonged to her mentor and mother figure, Chaela, a fellow Witch Paladin felled in battle by a powerful demon. Her main selfish motivation is to destroy this demon and it's ilk to avenge Chaela. If someone asks however, she will say she fights to prevent the death of any more of her fellow Witch Paladins.
What she most needs to learn in life is that between her oaths to the living and her promises to the dead, she must not forget to live for herself.
More information on Witch Paladins and a turnaround of Alastrina here.
It's a really good composition, and the colours really work. The only thing I'd suggest is revising the specular highlights on the metal parts of the armour - they are too narrow and sharply defined, making it look like glossy plastic instead of steel.
Very nice...I likes this character. She'd be perfect in this: [link]

Announcer 1: "And here we are at the Ninja Pirate Dome! It's going to be an awesome fight, right Blake?" Announcer 2: "My name is Frank." A1: "Sure thing, Fred." A2: "FRANK!" A1: "Right you are Bob! And now, the fight begins!" *is shot*
After the Seventh Sanctum contest was over, I just started to have a bunch of ideas about characters and the world from my entry! It could really end up a great story if I put a bit of work in.
(Sorry about the late reply too)

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not the absence of fear.
Oh, and I just noticed in the comments of my Seventh Sanctum entry, that several people have shown interest in making this into a D&D class. Which I think would rule.
